Anao-House (under Construction)

A full renovation of a shōya (traditional farmhouse samurai residence) in Kameoka, supervised by Alex Kerr.
Each room will be equipped with its own bathroom to accommodate four partys. The doma (earthen-floored space) will be significantly enlarged and remodeled into a shared communal area. The detached building was already demolished to expand the garden and return it's to it's original Edo Period state.
